Warrior (noun) a person who shows great courage

Have you ever wanted to speak up, take a stand, make a change in your life or in the world but held yourself back because you were afraid?  Do you long to finally be seen, have your voice heard and confidently share your gifts with the world?

Deep down you know there is a part of you that isn’t afraid to take a stand for what you believe in.  A part of you that doesn’t back down in the face of challenge.  But that part of you keeps getting silenced by fear of judgment, buried under old habits or quieted by memories of what hasn’t worked in the past.

If this sounds like you then it’s time to reawaken your Inner Warrior.  It’s time to embody that part of you that is a wellspring of courage and confidence.

During the Paint Your Inner Warrior experience we’ll use guided imagination, creative writing and an alchemical medicine painting process to explore the Warrior Archetype – the part of you that stands confidently in your power, that believes in yourself, that isn’t afraid to be seen and heard and fight for what you believe in.

Alchemical (adjective) a power or process that changes or transforms something in a mysterious or impressive way

The Paint Your Inner Warrior journey includes…

A 2 day virtual retreat setting.  We meet live on Zoom, June 8th and 9th for a weekend of transformational creative play and profound personal growth.  There will be painting, journal prompts, poetry, sacred ceremony and a specially curated playlist of inspirational music.  This isn’t just about creating art; it’s about unlocking newfound confidence that will ripple through every facet of your life.

Step by step painting instruction.  We’ll follow a 13-step Intentional Creativity painting process which makes painting with acrylic paints accessible to beginners and creates the medicine painting experience.  This is creativity for everyone regardless of skills or talent.

Weekly Painting Sessions.  We’ll meet live once a week for 6 weeks to deepen into our experience and complete our paintings together.  There will be painting demos, live Q&A and time to paint together so that you get the accountability and support you need to move past any challenges and complete your painting.

What to expect on the journey…

➦Paint Your Inner Warrior is part guided painting immersion, part inner vision quest and part creative exploration.  This isn’t like a paint and sip.  You’ll follow a step by step process to create your own original painting with layers of visual depth and metaphorical meaning.

➦We’ll go on a guided journey exploring our imagination.  Get in touch with your inner wisdom to inform your painting and healing journey.

In this safe container we’ll look at the wounds that keep us from embodying our Inner Warrior.  By exploring and expressing these wounds on the canvas we transmute their energy, unravel the old stories and leave old ways of being in the past.

We’ll explore the archetype of the warrior drawing upon our own inner wisdom and ideas about what it means to be a warrior rather than appropriating or stereotyping a popularized idea of a warrior.

Archetype (noun) a collectively inherited unconscious idea, pattern of thought, image, etc., universally present in individual psyches. From Jungian psychology.

After our journey together you will…

➦ Feel empowered to make a change in your life or in the world.  Is there something you have been dreaming of doing but haven’t yet had the courage to do?  Leave this experience feeling excited and inspired to finally make your dream a reality.

➦Have a potent original painting  encoded with your personal formula for accessing courage, strength and resilience.

This is for women who want…

➦To feel confident sharing your gifts with the world. Whether that’s your art, writing, music or something else…

➦To learn how to move through the fear of using your voice and being seen.

➦To make a change in your life or in the world but you find yourself stuck in old ways of being.

➦To experience a deeper connection to your own inner wisdom and intuition.

➦To spend a weekend immersed in the joy of creative play and profound self discovery.

Intentional Creativity (noun) is a mindful and deliberate approach to creativity that emphasizes the process of creation more than the end result.

In Intentional Creativity Medicine Painting the focus is on exploring and expressing our inner world through the creative process, rather than simply trying to produce a particular outcome.  We play with the canvas as a portal for transformation.  We use inquiry and intention to get in touch with our innermost self, to access information we don’t know that we know, to reveal ourselves to ourselves.  Intentional Creativity is a powerful tool for personal growth and self-discovery.

-Sage A.

“Elizabeth’s workshop was exactly what I was thirsting for. It allowed me to open my intuitive knowing and reminded me that creative outlet is an essential part of my state of being.” -Kit F.

“l would recommend this to anyone who wants to shed old beliefs and replace them with new ones.  Any who wants to play with paint.”
